About Cheshire Home Tutor

My name is Sue Thraves and I have been a qualified teacher for over 25 years. I am a highly experienced and dedicated professional who has worked across all Key Stages from EYFS, KS1, KS2 to KS3 in schools throughout Cheshire, Trafford and Manchester. I hold an honours degree and a postgraduate certificate in Education. I have a fully enhanced DBS check.

I have been a private tutor for 18 years and have a proven track record of common entrance and 11 plus success in the North West.

All of my tutees have been successful over the years. I am equally happy to teach online as well as face to face.

I adopt a caring and fun approach to teaching with the emphasis on building confidence so that children feel fully equipped to deal with their forthcoming exams. In addition, children who have come to me for just support in Maths and English, or for help with SATS have absolutely thrived.
